The Spinoff

“Fantastico Disasterpiece Theatre” has grown to the point where we get our own spinoff! “Fantastico After Dark” premiered its first one-off episode this past April on YouTube and Troma Now with “An Evening with Brinke Stevens!” This has led to the order of several episodes of this new series!

You might be asking yourself why we’re bothering to fill you in on this little factoid. Well, here it is! For this crowdfund, all contributors at and above a certain level, for the first time ever, will receive DOUBLE CREDITS! Not only will you receive IMDB credits for our primary show, but also for several episodes of this brand new series!

I bet you’re wondering, “What in the Dark Lord’s name is ‘The Golden Lucha?’” Let us lay it out for you. Season 5’s entire narrative is based on movie awards, the people that decide them, and the effect they have on those who are consistently ignored and snubbed. “The Golden Lucha” is a movie awards show produced by Better Than Nothing Films LLC that will have its initial premiere after Season 5 releases in its entirety. This year’s crowdfund includes a couple of Season 5 specific and unique rewards that you can claim.

GOLDEN LUCHA SPONSOR – $500

– You’ll receive Executive Producer credits (on the end credits and IMDB) for Season 5 and the debut season of “Fantastico After Dark.” Additionally, you will have an entire awards category named after you along with voting access for the show. It’s one of our prime reward tiers for this season! For example, “The (Insert Name) Award for Best Director!” Immortality… Rec Center style!

Hell Hath No Fury… But They Do Stream Movies!

This year’s movies are unknown to Fantastico and the crew! Styx has given Fantastico her login to “Inferno+,” Hell’s only streaming service. You get movies, but you don’t get to choose! Fantastico and the gang will have to deal with whatever films stream directly into the Fantastico Compound! You’ll know when Fantastico does! (The movies are ready to go! But we’re not telling!)

Where Do My Contributions Go?

Our initial goal is $8,000. When you donate to our show, every penny goes to help with production. No one on the crew makes money. We are all volunteers. Here’s a breakdown of how your contributions and donations are used.

• Camera, Lighting, and Sound equipment
• Building expenses and insurance
• Travel and accommodations for cast and crew (Flights, hotels, etc.)
• Guest Travel and accommodations (Flights, Hotels, Meals, etc.)
• On set provisions (Drinks, Snacks, Coffee!)

What if we don’t make our goal?

We will still use the contributions that we have to make the best season possible with the resources available. Unfortunately, some changes will need to be made. Fewer and/or shorter episodes will definitely be at the forefront of the cuts as we will not have the funds to keep the studio space long enough to shoot the planned 10 episode season. There will be less equipment all around which could have an affect on the finished product. However, we will still bring you the best season we can to the best of our abilities.

Why do we continue to do this show?

The short answer is that we all believe in it. We want it to expand and grow. We love working with Troma Entertainment and Lloyd Kaufman. Lloyd believes in the show right along with us. Troma has graciously given us a proper venue to showcase each of our seasons and allows us the use of their vast library of cult classic films. Aside from that, this crew is a family. Doing this show gives us the opportunity to come together, once a year, to create together and learn from one another. There’s no better reason to create than creating something special with a group of friends.

Times can be tough and we completely understand that. If you’d like to help out but can’t really contribute monetarily, just getting the word out can make or break a campaign. Final Thoughts

Hola, hip, cool Fantasticat contributors. I wanted to once again thank you for all of your continued support over the years. Five seasons! That’s pretty insane. Who would’ve thought that some tiny little idea I had in 2016 and short indie wrestling career would blow up into this? I’ve made so many good friends on this journey. I’ve met many interesting and fun people. I have no idea what I’d be doing right now if it weren’t for all of your continued support either monetarily or morally! The past five years with Troma and the three prior to that were spent on YouTube have allowed me to live a dream I’ve had since I started rewriting Star Wars scripts to cast the kids and adults in my neighborhood when I was only five years old. Because of your support, I’ve had the chance to direct Joe Bob Briggs, John Carpenter, Svengoulie, etc. I’ve met one of my very favorite people, Michelle Bauer, who I consider a dear friend. I’ve become good friends with people like Brendan Petrizzo, Brinke Stevens, Johnny Taylor, and Diana Prince! I know that I’ve typed several words here, but I still can’t find the proper ones to say how grateful and thankful I am to all of you!
